I am extremely medical within my approach to my complex dissociative disorder. I am currently in treatment for my disorder, & treat it as a serious ailment, as it severely impacts my life.
I do not use plural language or non-medical terminology like “fictive” or “factive”, or terms like “headmate”. Do not call me a system, I am a person with a complex dissociative disorder. I openly call my parts “parts” or “personalities” and expect the same from you. I also may refer to myself as someone with multiple personality disorder. If you do not like that, don’t talk to me.
I also shy away from those who do not treat CDDs as serious, out of my own preference. I can’t control & don’t care what you do, I just don’t want to be associated with it, & I don’t care about how miserable it sounds.
