kisu wo (kiss me): perhaps the only song here mostly for hype moments and aura. the lyrics describe an intensely passionate love in a pretty straightforward way. the songwriter, jun togawa, has said she doesn’t like to write such abstract lyrics that basically boil down to “i love you a lot,” so i guess they’re special in the sense that they’re the only ones of their kind. but on their own i don’t think they’re especially unique to ravero. the song’s sound, though, make it stand out to me. the slow tempo and use of strings and synths make it sound really intense, hot and thick like flowing lava. i don’t want to sound pretentious, but that kind of intensity feels kind of fitting for ravero, you know? they’re deep or whatever, they complete each other, they love each other in ways that go beyond labels society can put on them… i don’t know i feel dumb. lyrics: https://lyricstranslate.com/en/jun-togawa-lyrics.html
