I have no interest in converting people, only loving them ❤︎
in July 2015, I became a Christian & follower of Jesus of Nazareth, a brown Jewish man from modern-day occupied Palestine— paradoxically fully God & fully human— who preached countercultural love, radical care for one another, & resisted religious authority. my highest value is and will always be reflecting the unconditional love (ἀγάπη) that he shows me, even when I do it imperfectly :)

I have commitments to:
1) education on & condemnation of the Church as an institution’s systemic violence, oppression, colonialism, & destruction
2) zero tolerance for & demanding accountability/repentance from those who weaponize scripture & religion
3) restorative healing, justice, & liberation that looks like Jesus

If I speak in the tongues of humans and of angels but do not have love, I am a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. And if I have prophetic powers and understand all mysteries and all knowledge and if I have all faith so as to remove mountains but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give away all my possessions and if I hand over my body to burn but do not have love, I gain nothing.
