hello there my name is fiend or mostly known as 48 and i am here to tell you about the connections from this band cause im neurodivergent and band lore is my favorite subject to study about
so “SexArt” is made of 5 members which are
Jonathan Davis - Vocals
Ryan Shuck - Guitar
Ray Solis - Guitar
Dave DeRoo - Bass
Dennis Shinn - Drums
+ sometimes Ty Elam (who is actually in another band named “Cradle of Thorns” at that time) joins in as Vocals
we all surely knows that Jonathan left SexArt to join “Korn”, but do you know what happens after that? well mr. fiend here will tell you!
ok so after the JD’s departure, the position of vocals was replaced by Brian Armer (fun fact: is nicknamed Smily awwww) from the band “Brother From Another Mother” before then Sexart disbanded some time after. after Sexart disbanded, Smily went to join another band named “Glass Cut Eternity”.
A few years later Sexart reunited with a new singer Richard Morrill which is the ex-singer for the band “LAPD” (also Korn’s parent band as you may know) but unfortunately was shortlived and was shortly back to being disbanded.
After that;
- Ryan Shuck went to form the band “Orgy” with Jay Gordon, also bringing Dennis Shinn with him who then left causing him to be replaced by Bobby Hewitt.
- Ray Solis with Dave DeRoo and Brian Armer went to form a band along with Smily named “Juice” which consists of 5 members (Brian Armer/Smily, Ray Solis, Tim Fluckey, Dave DeRoo, Anthony Cutshall) but unfortunately this band is also shortlived (which SUCKS cause theyre one of my fav bands)
- remember Ty Elam’s band Cradle of Thorns (which consists of Ty Elam, David File, Kris Kohls, Rohan Cowden, and they kept changing bassist i forgot whos when)? Well not much happened to them about other than they changed their name to “Videodrone” and they changed bassist again ok whatever. this is important cause this will be mentioned later.
So we all also knows that back then Korn owns a record label name Elementree Records, so then Orgy and Videodrone gets signed to them and also with Deadsy but we’re not talking about them so.
After that;
- Orgy got popular and thrives and stuff #hellyes (but eventually they got out of the label and switched to their own record label “D1 Music” instead)
- Same thing can’t be said for Videodrone cause they disbanded shortly after they joined the label and released their album.
- BUT remember Juice from earlier? Well, Tim Fluckey and Dave DeRoo with Kris Kohls went to form another band with JD’s half brother Mark Chavez named “Adema”
- And Ty Elam also went to form a band named “Karma Hitlist” & on 2007-2015, he reformed Videodrone with two new members
ok so other stuff;
+ Dennis Shinn became a music Producer instead
+ Brian Armer fought with Non Hodgkins Lymphoma and won!!! which then he formed a band named “My Beautiful Secret”, the name being based on the fact that he didn’t talk much nor told many about his cancer making it ‘his beautiful secret’
+ And now Brian Armer has his own company producing wound-care products named ZombieSport ! That’s my goat holy shit
+ Ryan Shuck along with his bandmate Amir Derakh created a side project named “Julien-K” (Ryan Shuck, Amir Derakh, Elias Andra, Brandon Belsky) in 2003, which then turned into their actual band that they continued doing until now after they were kicked from Orgy in 2011 CAUSE THE SINGER REPLACED ALL THE FOUNDING MEMBERS WITH NEW GUYS #FUCKYOUJAYGORDON
+ along with their own band, all of Julien-K’s members also partakes in the side project of Linkin Park’s Chester Bennington named “Dead By Sunrise”
umm holy yap ok i’ll add a few more when i found out about more ok?
