i’m not proship or anti ship i think i am just a normal person. but to run my values back again i think fiction ≠ reality inherently, though it absolutely affects it and there can be correlation. the priority should always be on protecting real victims and if you lose sight of that in getting on your high horse about weird fictional shit no matter what your stance is on said weird fictional shit you’re part of the problem. if you are to post about dubious things it is on you to keep it away from minors. if you are a minor please for the love of god don’t post about proship adjacent things on social media. harassment from either side doesn’t do anything and there are problems with over-identifying with either end of the scale. censorship in most cases is a problem. i’ll add to this later
